Costco is looking to have their operants management system be able to be run via web and not locally. Currently is can only be accessed via a VPN and is constrained by a small window. It's slow and unresponsive at times and needs to be updated for modern computers.
To meticulously plan the redesign, I crafted three distinct user flow diagrams, each meticulously outlining the processes of three frequently encountered user tasks. Utilizing these user flows as a guide, I made informed design choices and emphasized key elements crucial for enhancing the inventory experience. This systematic method enabled me to harmonize the interface design with user requirements and optimize their interaction with Costco.
Using Figma, I transformed my wireframes into high-fidelity designs, breathing life into the user experience. Focused on addressing the four pain points identified through usability testing, my aim was to forge a visually cohesive interface, ensure consistency in interactions, deliver thorough and pertinent information, and enhance the efficiency of form completion.
